So much has happened these past few days! I went for a interview yesterday morning for a new store in our mall called Cotton On. It reminds me a lot of the clothes from Forever 21 and the clothes I wear myself; very clean, simple, and relaxing. I think it went really well, the people were definitely friendly and not a bit intimidating. I just made sure to keep my smile on the entire time!
Last night I went to the Lil Wayne concert at the Hartford Center. It was a memorable night to say the least. As much as I want to forget all of what happened, the concert itself was really good. I haven't been to a concert in over a year, since Warped Tour '10. I wish Kyle was able to go last night, I think of the fighting that occured wouldn't have even happened.
My mom's birthday is tomorrow so we're celebrating it by spending the day up in Narragansett again. I love the beach so much, it puts me in the best mood. I really wanna catch up on my tan again too since I finally stopped peeling and my sun poisoning went away. Woo!
Now I'm waiting for my mom to get home so I can borrow her car to pick up my paycheck and visit Ky on his lunch break! I'm bringing him some Dunkin too hehe. I can't wait to see him :)

Field hockey begins!
Field hockey conditioning started last week and I'm actually attending hahaha. I want to be in the best shape possible by the end of the summer since I haven't done sports in over a year. It's so ridiculously hot though! Ah, maybe this will help me achieve my tan as well?

I have library duty again this afternoon. I used to dread going there, but I've recently come to reality with the fact that I adore little children. They're so innocent and funny the way they walk around and just their mannerisms I guess. They're always so nervous to come up to me to tell me about the books they've read and the look of excitement they have when I show them their prizes is so cute! I can't wait to work with little kids when I'm out of college.

Thinking ahead
I'm convinced I have the mindset of a twenty eight year old. It fascinates me to think about where I'll be living in the next couple years. Ideally, I'd love to move to California with my boyfriend Kyle. I'd love to live in a small apartment or house because I've never liked big houses. Small houses are a lot more comfy and personal to me. I'd love it to have good vibes from the second you walk in and be as zen as possible. I love the idea of filling it with little trinkets from antique shops and flea markets. I want a huge California King bed so I can sprawl all 5'4 of me across is every morning. My house should just scream comfortable. Something around the looks of these inspire me:
I can't wait to move. Connecticut is suffocating me.

This picture was from summer 2010, when I took a trip to Wildwood, NJ with three of my best friends. It was honestly one of the best times I've had in the past couple summers. Ready for the start of junior year and hoping to make it a better year than last. Thank God it was. Now it's summer 2011 and I find myself sitting at home most nights, going to bed early, and finding comfort in any food I can find in my cabinet. It's a couple months before my senior year, things should be different.
Refreshed
I created this blog in hopes to start fresh and have a place to share my thoughts privately, apart from my other tumblr blog that a lot of people from my high school follow. I enjoy being able to express myself through my blogs, I feel as if it's a place where I can freely express my personal thoughts and feelings towards everything going on in my life.
Having said that, I can't express enough how excited I am that it is finally summer. I love being able to wake up every morning around twelve because I don't have school anymore. I love waking up to the bright sunlight shining through the blinds of my window and being able to spend countless hours sitting on my deck soaking up the sunrays. I could live like this forever. Hopefully after a couple years I'll be able to in California.
